US: Fort Hood, Texas soldier Vanessa Guillen goes missing, search underway

A soldier stationed at Fort Hood went missing last Wednesday, kicking off an extensive search to find her.
Vanessa Guillen, 20, was last seen about 1 p.m. in the parking lot of her barracks at the Texas base, the army said in a press release. She was wearing a black t-shirt at the time.
Guillen’s belongings — including her car keys, room key, wallet and ID card — were found in the armory room where she had been working before she went missing, the release said.
A joint search is being conducted by military members and police and outside authorities.
The soldier is 5 feet 2 inches and weighs 126 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information of Guillen’s whereabouts is urged to contact Army CID Special Agents.
