29 new COVID-19 cases recorded from 330 tests in Guyana

Guyana on Saturday recorded 29 new cases of COVID-19 from 330 tests, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 6, 105.

Fourteen new cases were recorded in Region Four, seven new cases in Region Three and Five new cases in Region One. Regions Seven, Ten and Five recorded one case each. Regions Two, Six Eight and Nine recorded no new cases.

To date, 159 persons have died and 5, 305 have recovered. This means there are 800 active cases countrywide.

There are five patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Infectious Disease Hospital, 22 in institutional isolation and 600 in home isolation.
